Do you have a boat? If not I would try along the seawall, the foot of the highway 11 bridge & trestles. Really anywhere you can get in and there's some structure around. The trick is to find clean enough water, which can be tough near the shorelines. All you need is 2-3 ft. of vis though and a short gun like a jbl 38 special.
If you have a boat try around the bridge spans.
alright thanks, i dont have a boat and ive tried at the base of the causeway but it was real muddy when i did so might try it again. Do you have any certain spots along the seawall?

Don't know any seawall spots. I would keep an eye on the wind though. If we have light south winds for a few days, the southshore should clean up. Light N winds and the northshore will clean up. The middle of the lake generally stays the cleanest, but when the wind blows hard it muddies up too.
You may want to check out spearboard.com and talk to some of the local guys. There's some guys in the helldivers club that have a lot of experience in the lake. A bunch of them post on there too. The author does not allow comments to this entry
