Although the rodeo this year was a great success, on a sadder note, many divers from Louisiana and around the country are mourning the death of a fellow spearfisherman during this year's rodeo. James Martin, an ex-navy seal from Pennsylvania, died Saturday off the coast of Venice, LA after a diving accident. The nature of the accident is unknown at this time. I am told that he leaves behind a wife and two children. Check back for updates.
